Description
Our 42" x 12" Flat Reflective Street Name Sign Blanks are manufactured from .063" gauge aluminum with reflective material on one or both sides and feature 1 1/2" radius corners. Street Name Sign Blanks are not punched with mounting holes.
All Hall Signs aluminum blanks are manufactured at our Bloomington facility per U.S. Bureau of Public Roads Standards. Our standard blanks have 3/8" holes for mounting and radius corners in accordance with the Federal Standard Highway Signs Manual. The aluminum substrate base for our aluminum sign blanks is chemically treated to add longer life and weather resistance. Reflective Aluminum Blanks are covered with material on one or both sides. Choose from three grades of reflective material in seven standard highway colors.

The signs came bowed badly in the middle, all seven of them. I thought they had been stored leaned against the wall, that's happened to me before with aluminum substrate. I complained, but was told that there was nothing to be done for it. Also, there was a lot of debris underneath the reflective sheeting. Not small pieces, but rather large, it looked like pieces from the aluminum, perhaps. I was told that I could not return them because I had applied graphics. I had only applied graphics to ONE of the signs, but still, received no answer to my email. I ended up showing them to the customer, taking a break in the price of the signs, he cannot wait any longer so he will use them and replace at a later date. They are street signs for a subdivision. I could not be more disappointed in this purchase. Also, it took one month to get the signs. I almost lost the job over that alone, and then when they showed up, the quality was sub par. I did send pictures to Hall Signs to show them the defects, but they did not even address the problem of the debris under the reflective vinyl, they just said they could not be returned.
